Five for FRIDAY!!!

Happy Valentine's Day Eve (I think I just made that holiday up!) and Happy FRIDAY!!!  We had a fabulous Valentine's Day party today in kindergarten!!  We had cookies, cupcakes, candy hearts, a fruit tray, and carrots!!  So glad we had some healthy treats in the mix as well!!

I'm linking up with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching with my Five for FRIDAY!!

I have been doing activities with my students from my Valentine Math Pack all week and they have just LOVED them!!  You can read more about it here!
This is one of the activities from my Valentine Math Pack that we did today!  We sorted candy hearts by color and then recorded how many we had on a ten frame.  I also had them tell me how many more they would need to make 10.  Of course they got to "eat their math!"
I had found this idea on Pinterest for making playdough and then using a heart cookie cutter to cut out playdough hearts.  Soooo....I decided to do this for my student gifts!  I have actually never made playdough before and while I was making it the smell of the playdough totally brought me back to being a kid when my mom made homemade playdough for us.  It was really easy and turned out great!
I can't forget about gifts for my teammates!!  I love working with them so I got them these cute little Valentine buckets with chocolate and Valentine's Day socks!  I made those tags last night and the bee clipart is a freebie that you can find here.
One of my kindergarten friends brought me this card along with the cutest Valentine snow globe and some chocolates.  He told me that it was because I am the best teacher!  So sweet!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
